Making Reservations

We strongly urge our guests to make reservations ahead of time. Staff is available to take phone calls to set up reservations after we open at 11:30am. You may also make reservations on this page at any time. We do our best to accommodate patio table requests for all reservations but cannot guarantee all requests due to limited seating.

Parties with 6 or more guests are asked to call ahead of time to secure a large party reservation. A credit card is required to secure a reservation for parties of 6 or more. Please notify us of any cancellations 24 hours in advance to avoid a $5 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations can be made via Tock or by calling us during our business hours.

Group reservation requests for more than 15 guests can be made by calling the restaurant or emailing through our Private Events request page. Separate reservations may not be combined to create larger parties. We have seasonal dining hours and conclude seating at 8:30 pm in the spring and summer months, and 8:00 pm in the winter and fall months.

Reservation and Seating Policies

Blue Moon Over Avila is primarily a reservation based restaurant, however we strive to accommodate walk-in guests on a first-come first-served basis. Please speak to our host to check available seating so we can inform you of wait times or current availability.

Phone reservations may be made during business hours by calling our host stand at 805-595-2583. Please be sure to leave your name, phone number, and the date, time, and party size for your reservation. Reservation requests may be left on our voicemail, but please note that they are not formalized until you receive a confirmation callback or text via Tock.

Parties of 6 or more qualify as large parties, and will require a credit card on file to confirm their reservation. No-shows or failure to cancel reservations 24 hours in advance will result in the card on file being charged $5 per guest.

All reservations are given a grace period of 10 minutes past the reservation time. If you are delayed we strongly urge you to call and notify us. Late reservations with no contact are subject to the table being given away to our waitlist after the grace period.

Each reservation is curated for a comfortable dining period of 2 hours. This is to ensure we provide the best experience for all of our bookings.

Other Policies

We are happy to accommodate separate checks at a limit of 4 checks per table. We welcome outside wines at our restaurant. A corkage fee of $25 per bottle will be applied to the check.

Please alert your server to any food allergies prior to ordering your food. Foods with allergy alerts will be prepared on separate surfaces from our normal foods to prevent cross contamination.

Blue Moon is very pet friendly! Pets are welcome at all of our outside seating areas, though only service animals are allowed indoors. Bowls of water are available for your dogs upon request.
